Dear Tessa,

My name is Anne Barclay and quite a while ago now, just over 2 years, I bought a boy Pugalier from you on the 28th July 2002 and called him Darcy. I just wanted to let you know that he is the most excellent dog, he has been easy to train and has a great sense of himself, he has been brilliant with all the other animals (dogs, cats, chickens, children!).

I have registered him on the working and obedience register (his name is Retsim Ycrad of Nizzana – that’s Mister Darcy backwards) and at the end of last year we started agility classes and I have been competing with him since then in the midi classes, not only is he very fast but he has a great jump and is extremely agile. He certainly gets a lot of attention as he is so unusual, loads of people come up and want to know what he is, often they are afraid to ask if he is a crossbreed but I take great pride in informing everybody he is a Pugalier.

I thought you might be interested in some photos of him, I have attached some of him performing at Supa Dog agility that was held at the Hop Farm in Kent May/June this year and some of him looking just drop dead gorgeous.

I often access your web site to see what puppies you have and hope in the future perhaps to be able to have another puppy from you – probably a Pugalier although we are very taken with the schnauzer x pugs.

Hope you like the photos.

Kind regards.

Anne Barclay

Hi Tess,

It's been such a long time since I wrote to you - but just wanted to let you know that Charlie Chan our little Peke that we had from you four years ago is doing well, we adore him, he's such a good boy and such wonderful company - we love him to bits.

I took some photo's of him last night after his bath - I'm ashamed to say though that I have had to clip his coat down, with all the work with the kittens at the moment, I was finding him too much like hard work to keep on top of him, as you know he gets the most huge coat - and anyway, I'm sure he feels much better in the warm weather without all that heavy coat - including the photo's for you to see ! Hope you like them ? As you can see he is well cared for, and we just could'nt imagine life without him - we can never thank you enough for letting have this wonderful little man.

I would still love to have another - but it's still a white that I'd love or maybe a two coloured one like the little girl that my friend had from you - suppose you remember the day we brought Charlie Chan to see you when my friend collected her little girl Peke from you - we were hoping so much that day that she would'nt like her, so we could have had her - but there was'nt much chance of that, she was adorable ! But if I had another one, I think I'd like a little girl next time, Charlie can be so smelly and needs a bath at least every 10 days - I don't think girls are so smelly ?

Let me know will you if you get another little Peke with Charlie Chan's look ! I'm sure he'd love a little playmate.

Hope you like his piccies - even though he's clipped !

Would love to hear from you - and hope you and the family are all ok.

Talk soon,

Love,

Chris & John

Dear Mrs Marchand

May I start by telling you what a lovely minature schnauser we bought from you in October 2002.  We named her Jessie Jane Jackson.  She has a very loving family who spoil her rotten, but she has given us so much in return.  Very well behaved and toilet trained right from the start and coped well with the long drive back to Bristol.  My parents love her so much and look forward when they look after her when we go on holidays, she loves her stay with them too.  Jessie likes cuddling up to us when we are watching T.V. or asleep in bed, sometimes with her head cocked to one side, sitting upright with her paws up waiting for you to tickle her tummy.  She will give a warm welcome when we enter the house, jumping up and down on her hind legs, just like a child.  I swear that the dog was a person in her previous life, so intelligent, it seems she understands everything that you say to her.

Do you hear any feedback from Jessie's Family, I always wondered what they are doing now, and if they are just like Jessie.  Her fathers name was Tommy Trouble and her mother was Comfort Company.

Many thanks in making our life complete, we couldn't imagine life without her.

Kindest Regards

Steve and Sarah-Jane Jackson
