Hi Tessa

Just wanted to let you know that Riley has settled in to his new home fantastically well - it feels like he has been with us forever! He's even more gorgeous than you could imagine . . . completely cheeky and very comical and everyone who comes to visit us falls hopelessly in love with him.

I would like to thank you Tessa for providing Riley with such a lovely start in life - even our vet commented on his beautiful condition.  I have told everyone about your lovely kennels and if you ever require a testimonial for your website then please let me know and I will be happy to provide one for you.

I will send you more recent photos as soon as I get time to ask my friend to upload them!!

Best Wishes
Claire

Hi Tessa, Hope you like the photos, Bolt is doing fantastic we all love him to bits he is really cute, loves the snow and being centre of attention, a lovely little character. wishing you a happy new year  :)
Dear Tessa

It was really nice to meet you at the weekend having only spoken over the telephone and by e-mail.

It took us just short of five hours to travel home.  Millie sat on my lap until we reached the last services before the Severn Bridge.  She tried to bite my bracelets, my watch and my fingers but otherwise sat quite happily on my lap, eventually falling to sleep.  She slept the rest of the way home in her pet carrier and didn't make a sound.  She was not phased at all by the journey nor by the different sounds caused by large lorries or motorbikes.

She has also settled in extremely well at home, happily playing with our grandchildren.  She was not too sure when it came to nightime but was comforted when Bill spent the night on the small couch next to her bed.

Once again, many thanks for breeding our perfect new family member.

With many many thanks

Hi Tessa,

Thank you for breeding such a wonderful puppy; He is very affectionate, playful and cute!

Just to let you know that Monty has settled into his new home- he sleeps undisturbed 10-6 and is happy to be in his crate for intervals during the day (we have a routine while I am off sick, then we will get him used to being in the crate for longer periods of the day for when I go back to work). We are on top of his health- he has had his jab and puppy check and we will do worming on Sat and fleas in 2 weeks.

Think thats all

Thanks again

Hi Tessa,

Just to also let you know, his temperament is 100% lovable, adores cuddles, has a character that is full of bounce, happiness, loyalty and content.  He loves all the others, my older boy Bruno (12 in January) Dee (my shih tzu x lhasa) and Tia (she and Bruno are full shih tzu).  BJ doesnt moult, his fur is soft and curly, he is sturdy and muscled (getting more solid but kept to his ideal weight).

He adores walks, playing and yet relaxing, curls up, dances around with joy when he sees you, he bounds towards you with such excitement (either myself or my partner are here at home (not always at same time)...its rare for us to be out for long periods and if we are, then BJ, Dee, Bruno and Tia have the ktichen and their baskets (share two of them) up against the radiator and away from the dog flap to the patio.

Outside our back gate is the big fields and grassed areas and then the paths so the dogs all get to go off their leads and run, romp and play.  In the summer and warmer weather they have a patio where its shaded by the conifirs and they have toys and treats (equally shared, but have to be watched if they pinch off each other).

if one is not well for some reason (Bruno has not been well for three weeks due to some virus that the vets cant explain but he is on the mend and yesterday played for the first time....he is the oldest but the boss!) the others will all rally round and show concern, they know if one is not well.

BJ is sociable and adores people, somewhat wary of other dogs but he is getting there.....he has strength in his character but underneath if another dog came towards him, he cries (so he is all talk and not the brave soldier he makes out to be)

He is totally admired....has sorrowful eyes if he is found to be up to mischief, he doesnt dig the garden up, and never have I had any destruction not even a dog toy.  He is use to the car but likes to lay across the seat close to me.  We only do short trips so are aware of travelling and safety.  He and the others curl up and go to sleep but they all vie to lie close to me and my partner so its a case of who gets there first.

He sleeps on the bottom of my bed with Dee, Bruno and Tia have dog beds and he will get down after a while, Dee insists she stays put!

I've waited years for such a dog (half shih tzu x min snauzcher) and hoped he would have a temperament second to none.  I am aware that factors also point to how they are brought up as pups and adults and apart from his liking to chase after dogs (but runs if they run after him) and those on push bikes (but I am getting there) I cant fault him.  He is not a barker and cats can walk across our patio and he may run out but he never dives in to try to attack or bite but wants to play.

He adores all the others even though he tries it on with Bruno (being the boss ie) but Bruno does put him in his place.  Dee and Tia also do so BJ may act big but he is definately fourth in line.  If he gets a derserved nip off one of the other dogs he comes to me for solace and cuddles.  He never holds  a grudge or keeps away from the dog who nipped him as they all gather round if he cries out (he is pretty rough on playing with the others as he nips them) and watch until he is put down and they all wag their tails.

I let them sort things out but all of them get on so well and I never had any doubt.  To socialise a puppy with a dog so much older (Bruno) had me a little nervy but Bruno's tolerance is brilliant.  BJ loves him as he loves the others but Bruno will play on his terms and when he does, Tia and Dee get in there as Bruno (despite his age) plays and runs and chases.

All my dogs have lived to a good age and totally loved and looked after, even my fiancee is a bit jealous of them but he loves dogs and he loves these but thinks he is 5th in the pecking order (MEN!!!!!)

Did the little girl (we were orginally going to have - Ella)  get a home with an owner(s).....?  I often think of her and feel quite down that we changed our minds as BJ tended to be more shih tzu in his look.

I kept picture of his father Kiazer and wondered if you had one of his mum (shih tzu).

I am pleased you think BJ is gorgeous and you know he is well, thriving, happy and content.  He will celebrate our first christmas together as becoming BJ Evans as my fiancee and I are getting married on the 17 December coming. He will be spoiled always with love and affection always.

Best wishes
